It’s terrible when your running after the bus and it pulls away before you can reach it. Me and another person spotted the bus as it turned the corner and we both legged it. He was in front of me so I figured I had a good change of reaching it if he reached it but, despite yelling for it to stop, we both missed it. We shared a ‘damn it we just missed it’ glance and he went his way and I trudged to the terminal which was one bus stop away. (Because I might as well wait there were I might get a chance to sit down.)

I was waiting there when the man came by in car. He had obviously managed to get a lift from someone and they offered me a ride to Douglass. Since there are 5 bus routes that go though Douglass, 4 of which go to town (though only 2 pick up passengers there) it was extremely helpful. I was still late, but not as late as I’d thought I’d be.
