I am annoyed

Why is it when you don’t want something you see it around the place but as soon as you need it, it’s nowhere to be found. It’s the lament of the prop hunter.

I’ve seen cheap lanterns in a couple of pound shops before. I’ve even had to buy some for a panto I was on. But now they have disappeared. I eventually found a good one for 6.50, more then I wanted to pay since I thought I could get it for 2 Euro, but I had to scour all around town for it.

 

My phone also keeps dying with out me noticing. It used to beep loudly for hours before it died but now it just seems to keel over silently. I don’t use my mobile to tell the time, I have a watch, so I can go a whole day with out noticing it. When I do need it I’m always in the middle of something so I can’t charge it.

 

Grrrr.

 

On a completely unrelated note, I tried Mountain Dew for the first time today. It really is a drink that can only taste like itself, but I liked it. I’m not much of a fizzy drink drinker though.
