I hate it when seedless grapes lie
Nov. 18th, 2010 10:55 pmYeah, that heading has nothing to do with the rest of this post.
So the film is beginning to languish. I’m going to fiddle with the baby some more and take off an arm and sew it back on in a better position but there’s nothing much we can do until we get some storyboards. (Oh, this better not turn out like the last film.) We could go ahead with stuff but there’s no point if it turns out things are going to get changed. We’re not on any time restraint at the moment because there’s no shooting date, so things are getting drawn out. A shooting date would give us a goal and a storyboard would tell us what we need. So we’re basically waiting on the director.
I’m not even going to think about the play until Saturday because getting it touch with that director is almost impossible. There’s a dress rehearsal on Saturday, I’ll find out how abysmal things are then.
A friend of mine sent me their script to read through and it looks pretty good. Needs some work still, but as it’s only one of the first drafts, that’s to be expected. It’s some pretty intense stuff but I wouldn’t mind working on it.
Why do I seem to be doing a lot of work and yet I'm still not making any money?
