I got the baby doll from the director today. I was told that we maybe doing a kind of progressive stage this with a number of dolls. Starting with a realist one and then cutting to a slightly altered on, then a very altered one and then to an actor covered in things. There was also mention of using maggots, which is not only gross but also doesn’t seem to me to fit. It’s an alien baby, not a dead one.

Oh well, I’m not the director. At lest it’s been decided to not use the meat-baby idea.

I haven’t done anything to the baby yet, besides cutting the speaker, because I need to know what’s going to happen first but I did make up a skin and guts test with the liquid latex and I‘m just waiting for it to dry.
