Finished Assassin's Creed Revalations
Dec. 11th, 2021 09:08 pm(This is the 3d time I've had rats! My goal for next year is to find a new place)
Other then the weird glitch I had at the start that I needed to rename a file to fix the game ran pretty well.
I only had to restart a mission once because my character missed a jump and froze, and the time the climbing animation stopped working properly got fixed after reloading the level.
There was that weird glitch that meant one of the bomb missions was impossible but thankfully I found some forums that explained how to get the attachment anyway just by hitting the menu fast enough. I was glad I didn't have to uninstall & re-install the game like some of the suggestions.
I will say that some things weren't really explained properly. Like the difference between a hook & run and a hook toss was how long you hit the shift key. And that thrown weapon was different then throwing a dagger (it's something to do on heavy weapons). But the worst one was the mission to make a bomb of each effect actually meant you needed to quick make a bomb of each type, something that was explained nowhere I could see (I found how to do it in the menu after I found the explanation online).
I'm really glad to find forums helping with these, I would have totally given up otherwise.
The one thing I really hated though, was the Desmond bits.
Damn, 1st person POVs.
I got through these by waiting until I was going to stop playing & doing one before logging off to settle my stomach.
I really hope these no more nauseating bits in the other games.
That said, I did find a Black Friday sale for the platform games in the series that I ended up getting.
I bet by the time I get through all the games I have now I might even be able to get the newer ones at a discount too :)
