xt1meEverything's working now.
Fingers crossed I haven't jinxed it.
It turns out there was a hidden value behind the sink that was turned off for the water to the washing machine & the cooker needed the timer to be in a manual position before it work work. (Something really not made clear in the manual I got online btw)
Simple things but considering I was told nothing about the appliances & don't have the manuals I suppose understandable.
The guy sent to fix it was here about 10 mins but at least now everything's working.
Maybe I can live here after all.
