The saga continues
Jul. 28th, 2020 06:48 pmSo I got the text confirming the TV installation but not the internet (the important one) That, alone w/ the fact that the internet box never arrived yesterday made me go online and rout through my sky account (which I can now access) & find my order.
This was how I found out there was something wrong with the internet installation. I don't know what it was, there was just an exclamation mark & advice to call a number.
The number turned out to be disconnected.
So I had to wait until this morning for the cust care line to be open & navigate the stupid automated phone system to get through to someone to check on it.
It turns out there was some system issue (The guy on the phone doesn't know what caused it either) I the internet installation got cancelled.
I had to book a new appointment.
So now my internet is due to be installed on the 31st. Cutting things a bit close there since I have to be out of my current place on that date.
Of course it also turns out in order to process this I had to re-pay the installation fee & that what I previously paid will be refunded to me.
I guess I have to wait & see about that.
I also re-scheduled the TV appointment since there's no point in getting it in before I have the internet.
At lest I got confirmation for the installation this time.
