We had a nice and calm final day of shooting today. We had finished with all the actors yesterday and today was just filming green-screened elements for composting later. With no locations to get to, little set up and no time constraints other then the deadline for the equipment we could relax a bit. We just set up a green (well more like lime but it still counts) sheet in the directors back garden and though flour at the ground (far away from the camera as we’ve herd horror stories about what flour can do to equipment) for smoke effects and tossed some feathers around.
We did discover one problem today tough as there turned out to be an error with one of the SD cards we were recording sound on. We’re going to have to wait until Wednesday to talk to someone about it though. Hopefully they’ll be able to help. We do not want to try and mach up over 60 tracks.
I’ll also have to wait until Wednesday until I can capture the footage as the bank holiday is pushing everything back.
There are 9 tapes which means, since it’s takes the same amount of time to capture a tape as it dose to play it; I’ll have to wait around for 9 hours. It’s going to take me more then one day to get this done.
