Closing night!

So there I was, walking into town, dresses entirely in black (for the stage) to my game caring two (prop) daggers. And I play an assassin. That was appropriate.
(It was unanimously agreed that my Stage Manager's Cap was awesome)

I’m glad I got the game in even if it meant I had to go straight to the CAT club, it was fun.

 

The show went well. There were the usual last night shenanigans. Puck absolutely abused her glitter and it went everywhere. I know two of the cast, at least, managed to do the sign language for ‘my baby died’ though I didn’t get to see it. Quince did his prologue in what he clamed was a Welsh accent but that may have gone too far as it didn’t sound Welsh at all. It seemed to keep sliding into Jamaican.

They also called me on stage during the end speech and gave me flowers, a step up from last year where I stayed back stage and they not only got my name but also my gender wrong.

 

All in all a good show. Though I’m glad it’s over. Now to worry about next year.
