Tree’s done

Or as good as anyway.

The way I was doing it was using up too much newspaper and masking tape and it wasn’t really turning out right anyway, so I ripped it apart and started again. It’s just got a layer of crumpled newspaper around it for tree bark now. I may or may not give it a base coat, it all depends on whether or not the Euro shop has cheap cans of black spray paint left. Either way It’s going into storage on Thursday. I’ll paint it brown when we’re painting the set. That way the colours will match.

 

So far the only other props are some pages and a flower (love-in-idleness). We’ll see how that changes when we get closer to opening night.
