I can do a crane and a butterfly

I have a habit of when I’m board and have some spare paper I fold origami. I can’t do anything impressive, I only know two real things, but it keeps my hands occupied.

 

As such, I got one of those novelty thing-a-day calendars of, you guessed it, origami. I’ve done a koala, a cup and something that looks nothing like a black cat. Tomorrow is an airplane. So far I’m unimpressed.

Still, I have the rest of the year to go and they do seem to get more interesting as you go along. I’m going to stick all the finished products on my wall so it should look pretty cool by next year.
