So we finally have enough coverage in work that we can set aside time for individual training.
Which is great. Except I have no idea what kind of training I should be doing.

I've obviously have all the mandatory training done ages ago but I've done optional courses before and, frankly, I found them all useless.
There's nothing available that'll help do my job better and "training for my future career path" means nothing to me since I have no idea what my career path is. (My answer for "where do you hope to see yourself in 5 years?" is "employed")

I really don't want to do yet another course where I study enough to pass the test and get a useless calcification and immediately forget everything I learned since I never use any of it.

I was think of bushing up on my Python basics, since I haven't programed anything in years, when I realized there is something I could probably learn about.

GIMP

My current method of photoshopping being to just mess about with the tools and try and find a YouTube tutorial for anything specific.

I found a LinkedIn coarse that's about 5 hrs long, so I'm nowhere near finished it yet. But it's broken up into 5 minute chunks and goes though each tool really clearly.
Most of the stuff I kind of know already but learning how to actually use everything is handy.

The different layer filters and making you own brushes are what I mostly used for this:

I decided I might as well do something for MerMay
I also wanted to figure out how to a iridescence effect and found this tutorial.
