Went to the cinema
Nov. 25th, 2022 06:46 pmIt's the 1st time I've been to the cinema since the start of the pandemic.
I went to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
I have to admit it's nice to see the stuff big budget movies do well. It was a very pretty movie with some nice action scenes. They did very well working with the fact that there former lead actor died. So great tributes to Chadwick Boseman.
btw, there's no end credit scene just a mid-credit one.
I have one thing to say and it's nothing to do with the movie itself.
The movie was scheduled to start at 2:30. I was a few minis late but I wasn't in a rush because I knew the movies itself wasn't going to start on time.
Sure enough, when I got in there was adds playing. And they kept playing. I checked the time the movies actually started and it was 2:55.
Almost 1/2 an hour of adds. And not trailers either. There was one add for the next Ant-Man movie.
You could maybe say the amazon prime original series add counted as a trailer but I can't even remember the name of the show it was for.
There was just tones of adds, one of the was an add for getting you add put up before a movie and another was a add for cinema vouchers so there weren't even adds for outside products.
non of them were all that memorable either, I can't even tell you what was being adverted for most of them.
!/2 an hour of adds before a movie and non of them being trailer (which was always the best part of the adds before movies in my opinion) is just a joke.
