Batman/AssCreed idea

So here’s another crossover idea based on the slimiest of connections.
In Assassin's Creed you have the Brotherhood of Assassins but in the DC universe you have the League of Assassins
So here’s an idea on how to mix things together.
In the AssCreed universe you have the Isu and the McGuffins (err, I mean the Pieces of Eden) but there’s no Lazarus Pit.
So let’s say back in Altair’s time Ra's al Ghul (or whatever his original name was, I’m not too clear on his origin story) was a member of the brotherhood but he betrayed them or did something and was killed. There’s no resurrection for him here so it’s not an issue but Altair probably knew him.
Fast forward a few centuries and the main game plots & we get up to the end of AssCreed 3.
Let’s use the old fandom standby of lets-ignore-what-actually-happed,-the-Eye-just-sent-Desmond-somewhere for a nice easy way for a crossover.
So now we’re in the Batman’s universe. I don’t know which DC universe would work best (comics, movies, games, cartoons) probably some basic comic version. But anyway, in this universe there’s no pieces of Eden, maybe there was never any Isu to begin with or maybe there’s no world ending flare so no muti-centurey plot.
But it does have the Lazarus Pit which Ra's al Ghul finds & uses & takes out the existing Brotherhood in Altair’s time & makes the League.
All this because I want a scene where Desmond ends up in the League of Assassins, sees what they’re like, and like all his ancestors are so disgusted by an assassin order acting with Templar methodologies he channels Altair to dress down Ra's like he’s a little b*tch.
Listen, Ra's is the kind of villain that gets his power mostly from the fact that he’s an ancient head of a large group that pretty much worships him. It’s not his fighting ability or even the fact that he doesn’t stay dead that makes dangerous, not really. That’s why he’s a good batman villain. The simple matter is, he just doesn’t see many people as his equal (which is why he’s so stuck on Bruce).
I just like the idea of Ra’s coming across this American that says he’s an assassin but not one of his, when he suddenly recognises him as the head of the order his league was based on. An order he probably tried to erase any mention of its existence when he was kicked out. And the guy seems to know it, disparaging him for all his mistakes and his illegitimacy for even calling himself an assassin.
Can you just imagine Altair calling Ra's al Ghul a novice.
Of course Ra's losing his temper is obvious but unlike the superhero’s he usually deals with this guy has no problem just killing Ra’s & escaping.
He doesn’t stay dead of course, but I think after Desmond finds out about the Lazarus Pit & makes a few comments about how he doubts someone would likely come back if the body was burned to ash he probably decides to stay away.
Kind of like a cat that missed a landing, pretending one lone assassin is beneath his notice and going back to fighting people sworn not to kill.
Desmond ends up in Gotham of course. The only assassin group out there is the League so he’s not getting involved in that so he goes back to bartending. But there not a lot of places that don’t look for ID while hiring so he ends up working in the Iceberg Lounge.
Since he’s not one to be phased but all the wired goings on in the Gotham nightlife it’s probably a good fit for him.
He’s also not intimidated buy the Bat’s, the first time he sees Robin he just straight up says he’s not serving alcohol to minors. But it’s not like he’s loyal to the Penguin. If he catches wind of anything major, like plans to explode orphanages or poison water supplies he’ll just spill. But he’s also not one to volunteer information either so he ends up in this weird grey area where nether side know quite what to do with him. He’s not braking any laws so he Bat bunch can’t do really do anything. And he’s perfectly able to defend himself against the Rouges, lethally so if necessary, something that they can tell. Maybe Clatface tried to rough him up as a kind of hello while disguised as someone else & is completely surprised with a blade through the neck & asks how did Desmond know it wouldn't kill him. And Desmond just says he didn’t. And he gets left alone after that.
Maybe he can talk to Damion at some point about the tenants of his assassin brotherhood. Or Jason.
He probably channels his ancestors every now and again, but in Gotham that’s hardly out of the ordinary. I imagine not begin constantly put into the Animus possibly helps him a bit with the bleeding effects.
Batman probably thinks he’s delusional but it’s not like he’s doing anything criminal enough that could land him in Arkham.
I’m not sure where this’d actually go other then him enjoying a wired retirement watching the strange goings on in the DCU.
idk
