Pokemon Go evolutions

xt1meSo there's currently 7 different things that Eevee can evolve into in Pokemon Go.
I've read up how to evolve them into what I need by changing their names but I've decided I'm not go to evolve any until I get 175 candy so that by them I should have some high level Eevee.
For my own reference:
There's also another Pokemon that can evolve randomly.
Wurmple. It's a bug type thing I never herd of.
I looked it up & it's got 2 different paths but unfortunately no one knows any tricks yet, unlike Eevee.
No one knows how it decides what it is going to evolve into to but one place I looked at said it was based on a 'personality state' that can't be seen by the user.
On the off change that this meant that it's based on how much you use/own/interact with the Pokemon I set one as my buddy to rack up enough candy to evolve 2 of them. (12 * 2 = 24)
Then as soon as I caught a new one I evolved them both.
It seemed to work.
The one I had set as my buddy became a Silcoon & the new one became a Cascoon.
Of course that doesn't actually prove anything, I may have just got lucky.
I will say that since they earn 1 candy per km it's a great way of doing the candy gathering field research missions.

- Rename to Rea = ice-type Glaceon
- Rename to Sakura = psychic-type Espeon
- Rename to Tamao = dark-type Umbreon
- Rename to Rainer = water-type Vaporeon
- Rename to Sparky = lightning-type Jolteon
- Rename to Pyro = fire-type Flareon
