There’s nothing like seeing an ice-cream van driving by in lashing rain to sum up Irish weather.

Yeah, ok, it’s well into autumn now, but still.

 

And speaking of seasonal screw-ups, there are Santa Clauses around town. In OCTOBER! Ok, I know, I know, they’re doing a promotion to try and break the Guinness world record for the most Santas in one place sometime in November, but I also saw Christmas things in Tesco. (Including what was obviously a repackaged Easter bunny, which was clever.) It is far to early for Christmas!

 

There should be some kind of rule where Christmas cannot be forced down our throats until after the holiday’s before it.

Seriously, Christmas decorations before Halloween is just wrong.
