Since I am working Sunday I had today off. So I decided to drive down to the shop the shop to get milk.
As I was turning in to Tesco someone in the wrong lane turned in and I had to slam the breaks. I didn't think I did it too hard since I going pretty slow because it was a corner but as I was going up the ramp into the car park I heard the unmistakable flupflupflup of a flat tire.
I decided just to park and try changing the tire only to see both front tires were flat. One was mostly flat and the was completely flat. I tried to change the one that was the worst but the threads on bolts were worn down and I could get a good grip the unscrew them. So I just gave up and decided to call my Mum to see if she knew were the nearest place that repaired tiers was. But my phone had no credit.
At this point I just gave up and decided to just do the shopping as I was there anyway and to try filling the tires with air in the garage next to Tesco after and see if that would last me.
I found out in the garage that there was a car repair place just on the other side of Tesco so I got them looked at and was basically told the tries I had were wrecked and that I had to get them replaced. Mum told of the place were she got her tires so I went and forked over 100 Euro and got the two front tires replace and the rims plashed to prevent rust and resealed.
At least this happened today and not on the way to work.
