A least we finished before 6 today

I don’t want to hear ‘I’m sure it’ll be fine’ or ‘I’ll know soon’. Saying ‘I’ll get it,’ just means you don’t have it. I could have told you you wouldn’t get that robe (I fact I think I did) especially at the last minute. That’s why I had a back up plan.

 

Oh, and we don’t have a crew. Just because you and the 1^st and 2^nd ADs did sound today doesn’t mean we have sound guys. That’s a great way of getting inconsistencies not to mention the fact that they have their own jobs to do. The same with me doing the lighting. I like lighting but I’m not supposed to be doing it on this shoot. I’m also not supposed to be doing camera work, and if we had finished on schedule I wouldn’t have had to. I like camera too but I had no idea what I was doing because we have no shot list! Guessing doesn’t work when the only reference we have is in the DOPs head who wasn’t there.

 

Let me just boil this down to one thing.

WE SHOULD NOT BE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WE’RE DOING THE DAY BEFORE WE SHOOT IT!
