I am NEVER using UPS again. Not if I can help it

I just got my package from Thinkgeek.com (3 products, 1 envelope, .3lb) only to be charged and additional fee that was nearly 90% of what I paid for the product already. And that included the shipping, which was already over 100% that the products themselves cost on their own.
Apparently there’s an import tax of a few euro on everything that comes in from outside Ireland to encourage people to buy locally. OK, that’s fine. I can take that into account. What I’m annoyed at is the fact that UPS charges a 14 Euro fee on any tax they have to pay. They charge it for any amount up to 600 Euro so for a business that’s fine but it means I got screwed over from being on the lower end.

I’m just pissed off that between the company I bought these things from and the shipping company that delivered them I ended up paying about over 200% of the products cost. Why did I pay them shipping at all if I had to pay almost the same amount when I received it?!

Oh well. At lest I have some of my Christmas presents. Now to go wrap them.

This has been the best night so far

We finally hit all the lighting and sound cues right!
There were a few lines wrong again and the basket (that bloody basket!) almost collapsed but we had a much bigger crowd then previous nights and it’d the first time they clapped in every blackout.

By tomorrow night’s last show of the run we might actually get this completely right.
