Beauty is in the eye of the big multi-eyed floaty thing that’s about to kill us

I’ve never fought a Beholder before. They have some nasty
effects. And apparently in earlier editions were worse.

Though thanks to an abnormally high number of critical hits and
gratuitous use of action points and dailys we killed it I only 2 rounds.

 

Nice.

 

And then we got back to find a planet had been wiped out.

 

Oh well.
