This is a Sandman/Inception crossover and won't make any sense unless you know both. It has serious spoliers to the end of Sandman.

This is a fill to a prompt that asked for: Eames and Arthur are escapees from Dream's kingdom, like the original Corinthian from the Cereal/Serial Convention. They used to be stock characters who showed up in people's dreams. Possibly, they encouraged the development of PASIV tech for their own purposes.
They live in fear of the day Dream comes for them to take them back.
