xt1me - it means nothing

You know, there’s nothing quite like staring at a blank screen and telling yourself ‘ok, write something’ to completely dry up any creativity.
So… I’m going to write about my screen name.
Basically, whenever I would play games and they asked for a name for the high-score I would put down ‘t-me!’ because my name starts with a T and I’m me. Highly unoriginal I know. I did this because when you played some games you would only have three spaces for your name so it would just be ‘tme’.
This, of coarse, is an incredibly generic name so when I was getting a youtube account it was taken. I’ve always been terrible at thinking of names so I just stuck an x in front. Besides, I’m a fan of the x-men so I figured, whatever. This was taken however, so I replaced the dash with a 1, because it’s the lowercase of the ! key and there you go.
I did think about how it would be pronounced since one isn’t a letter but since it wasn’t something that would ever be said why bother. I always thought of it by it’s spelling anyway. (ecks tee won em eee.) Also, since there aren’t enough words spelt how they’re pronounced I kind of liked the thought of one pronounced how it’s spelt.
And there you have it. The incredibly boring origin of my name.
