I have previously complained about my origami-a-day calendar. How it cheats with two days in one for weekends and sometimes you need to use a scissors, which means it’s not really origami. I also pretty sure they repeated themselves a few times. In fact, of the entire (somewhat less then) 365 days I think there was only about a months worth of pages that actually ended up looking like there were supposed to.

With all of that said, however, I bought myself another one.

In truth, the page-a-day calendar format on the side of my desk did help me keep track of things and since I like fiddling with things when I’m bored, I did use it.

I think this time I’ll try and put up each piece I make in here. Here’s the first one. It actually looks kind of like a dove so it off to a good start at least.
