I thought of this years ago but recently remembered it.

It’s a Buffy fic idea.

Basically Xander dies and we’re left with two undead versions of him. He was turned into an vampire but due to hellmouth energy or magic or just the fact he really hates vampires his soul stays behind as a ghost. And he’s hunting his body. Maybe because he has experience form the other side of things but he’s really good at possessing his body and preventing it from killing people. But he can’t do it forever so the vampire and the ghost have to come to a truce. (The ghost calls himself Xander and the vampire, Lex to avoid confusion.)

Like all my other ideas this has no plot so it’s not going anywhere but I though of things like the fact that Xander can only wear what he died in or what his body is wearing so they get mistaking for each other a lot until people walk though him. Or, because he’s hunting his body, he can’t go too far away from Lex. But he does get ghost powers to make up for not being able to really touch anything like invisibility and telekinesis, he just has to learn how to use them.

Yeah, that’s pretty much it. It’s a pity I’ll never write it but I thought of it years ago so if I haven’t gotten around to it yet chances are I not going to.

What if Sozin died with Roku (or maybe instead of).

They’d be no war so what would the characters be doing? Aang would probably still have run away but with less consequences. Katara would have had waterbenders to learn from in the south pole. It’s doubtful Ozai would be fire lord but would he be as bad as he was? And it’s very doubtful Toph’s life have changed at all.

I had a vague idea of there being some sort of evil organisation working in the shadows of all four nations (maybe started by Sozin) kind of like an evil order of the white lotus.

David Xanatos from Gargoyles, Lex Luther from smallville, Seto Kaiba from Yugioh, Tony Stark from the Iron man movies and Bruce Wane from either the Nolan movies or the animated series (and any other rich character from a fandom I can remember) are all a some high class party, all secretly bored out of their minds. Then some high tech thieves try to crash the party to rob/kidnap the people there. Cue the assembled heroes and villains to fight off the intruders while not letting on to the other guests their combined badassery.

I’ll never write this not only because I don’t have an ending or even a plot but also because I don’t think I could actually write any of these characters convincingly.
