My fic: Roll on Summer

The first fic I put up on the pit was one of the essays I did for school. I only have it because I read the question wrong and had to start again. It always annoyed me that they never handed back the summer tests let alone the junior or leaving cert exams. I actually like some of the essays I handed up for them. (I did tend to have a habit of killing off all my characters though. This is because A: I read a lot of old school Sci-Fi which, being an offshoot of Horror, means they tended to get depressing, and B: I could never figure out how to end my stories or what to do with the characters, so I just killed them.)

 

I was careful to not mention any characters in case I got in trouble for using copywrited material in an exam (a stretch maybe, but I wasn’t going to chance it) but in my mind this was part of a larger multi crossover which I was never going to write. It was on of those ‘Xander meets a bunch of people and picks up some tricks’ stories. I can’t remember all the crossovers I had in mind for this but there was defiantly Neil Gaiman’s Sandman and the Highlander series. (not any of the main characters though. I had only seen the movies and not the T.V. show so I had made up my own immortal. I think the back-story I gave him was that he was a blacksmith’s apprentice that got kicked in the head by a horse and died that way.)
