Day 2 of making a hat

xt1meI got a bunch of scrap fabric & a ribbon from Vibes & Scribes.
I really should have tested the glue before I did this.
PVC does not work on all fabrics & it messy. Hot glue was the way to go but I didn't have many glue sticks left so its probably a good thing that I did it the way I did.
I wanted to make the ribbon look like a measuring tape so I used fabric paint. It's not very neat though.
I'm going to give it another day & the do some bits at the side. I was originally going to do a pin-cushion but I think I'll go for the traditional 10/6p sign. Maybe w/ fake pins coming out of the hat w/ the suits of playing cards on them. I'll have to see how hard it is to do.
