I decided to make a hat

xt1meNo real reason I just had a notion.
That's the great thing about having more time now. It used to be that I'd come home from work & just would not have the mental energy to make something. But now I can.
I'm going to try and make a mad hatters hat of some kind.
I got a pattern off the internet & cut out the pieces.
I now have to wait until tomorrow when the glue is dry to decorate it.
Unfortunately the pattern I got doesn't work. The brim in no way matches the rest of the hat. I didn't have enough foam to cut out a new brim so I cut the middle bigger & glued the hat onto it. I think I'm going to have to go over it tomorrow with a hot glue gun. I'll have to see.
I made a similar hat last year for Halloween. I dressed as Baron Samedi.
(it had a LED tea light in the skull)
I think it looks better then the one I'm making now even though I made up the pattern for it. Which I'm kicking myself for not keeping.
