I had a great time

I ache all over and my hands are covered in plasters from blisters but I did make a pretty neat knife. It's an Iron age style knife.


It's not fully finished yet as I have the polishing, final tempering and then more polishing and the sharpening to do. But it's forged.

I am really not used to swing a hammer all day and I still have trouble griping things today but I'm not as bad as I'd thought I'd be.

Lots of fun, I'd love to do it again.
(though with the cost of the lesson, the travel expenses and the B&B stay, I don't think that'll be for quite awhile)
