In the middle of the shoot

We have half the shoot, and most of the complicated locations, over with. We are currently in the main location, which is the director’s flat. As such, it means I can not only bring my laptop but, since I know the code for the internet, I can surf the web too. Yes I’m literally in the middle of the shoot. (I need to make sure I don’t type too loud.)

It’s a good thing too. The proposed wrap up time is 1am but I think that’s a bit optimistic. We’re already running behind.

(I’m not dossing off. When the shooting starts I’m pretty much done. I just have to stay out of the way until they need some new props or decide something on the spot that they’d need the art department for.)
