Phew!!! Opening night is done.

One down, five to go!

I’m a bit more relaxed now that we’ve done it once (though I spent the whole show in a sustained state of mild panic). Even if there was some big muck ups and the program has typos and actors forgot the names of who they were addressing or skipped whole chunks of script, everyone pulled together to cover everyone else an the audience was none the wiser.
(I did notice that they got into it more in the second half. Thank heaven for playing in a venue that serves alcohol at intermission.)

I just have to go in early tomorrow an make the basket a bit sturdier with cardboard and mountains of duct tape. (I hate that basket.)
