It’s supposed to be a cow head

Okay, today’s origami is actually physically impossible. At least by following the instructions given.
I’ve tried every possible way of reading them, including following the steps backwards, and I can’t get it to work.

It tells me to fold a sheet in half diagonally and then it not only telly me to separate into two halves what is actually the join I’ve just folded but it does it again later on in another place that’s the fold not two separate pieces. And I don’t think they mean cut it to make it two separate pieces and just forgot to give the instruction because if I cut it there my paper falls in half.

I haven’t missed a day yet, no matter how misshapen the result, but this time I think I’m just going to have to give up.
