Last day of warp con

I only got one game in today. I was a retired soldier who served as a tutor to a drunken lot who’s uncle was an alchemist who went missing. It was a GURPS game, which is a system I never played before.

 

All in all, the con was a lot of fun. Memorable moments: being the strongest person in the group and not getting a chance to hit something, being an incredibly flammable bait in a room drenched in gasoline with a match and my only escape a rope around my waist to be pulled by the other party members in the room above, realising halfway though the game that if the trapeze artist died from slipping off a greased bar why did he have the bar in his hands when we examined the body? and trying to dramatically smash an artefact while in a stand off only to discover that it’s unbreakable.

 

I also met a lot of people, some of whom I hadn’t seen in ages.

 

Great fun.
