Power cut

The fuse box blew, and I mean blew as in blew up. Ok, maybe it was more like melted but it was completely destroyed and we were left without power. I’d smelt smoke in the utility room last week but I had thought it was just left over smell from a cooking accident we’d had. I was mildly worried it might be the washing machine but I couldn't tell so I figured we’d find out when something stopped working.

Looks like I was right.

It turns out that one of the trip switches was trying to trip but couldn’t for some reason so the thing melted. There was also something mentioned about vibrations caused by door slams cased it.

 

As a consequence to this I fond out one of my torches no longer works because the batteries leaked in it and I can’t fix it because a battery has swollen inside and I can’t get it out.
